Unlike conventional analogue CCTV systems, which utilise tapes to record and store footage the TA-418 records directly onto Hard Disc Drives (HDD) increasing storage capacity and improving picture quality. The TA-418 records all cameras all of the time. All cameras can be viewed or replayed together in a quad format, or each camera can be viewed or replayed as a single full screen image.

The TA-418 also has motion detection recording with sensitivity adjustment, ie: the system only starts to record when there is movement in the picture. TA-418 has a USB port and comes with software so that you may easily transfer recordings to your PC and then from your PC onto CD or DVD if you require.
